LANCASTER LONDON. CAL 9.3X74R NO. 30020', the tubes engraved CHARLES LANCASTER. LONDON. ENGLAND' at the breech end, treble-grip action with deeply carved serpentine fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best bold acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplates gold-inlaid 'CHAS LANCASTER LONDON', the underside with a banner gold-inlaid with the calibre designation, retaining virtually full renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 5/8in. highly-figured replacement stock with cheekpiece, engraved and colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), fore-end with matching wood and with grip-catch release lever, weight 11lb. 4oz., in its best quality custom made brass-cornered leather case with full complement of accessories, including horn handled turnscrews, horn snap-block, inscribed bone striker pit (with spare strikers), snap caps, cleaning kit and nickel-plated oil bottle
